These necklaces are made from everyday materials including dried orange peels and glass decorative beads.
I chose dried orange peels because it’s a material my friend connected me to and gave permission to use her idea. I also did research on orange and citrus. I spent time recalling food stories relating to family time and shared memories. I liked that there was a family connection to this material plus I believe Everything has energy. It was a great object to teach people how to make. It was a great object to carry loss and to create an object to help support these memories is really effective.
